The Rules
1) You must always shoot with the pointy end forward.
2) The league is open to all archers no matter what you shoot, your level of skill or indeed where abouts in the world you live.
3) Scores submitted to the league should show your number of X's.
4) The competition is run on a monthly basis, one score per month from the designated schedule to be entered, all scores must be submitted by the end of each month. During the month's of July and December you may also shoot extra rounds if you have missed previous months rounds, only those rounds required to be shot (to catch up) may be shot in each 'catch up month', you are not able to "get ahead of the game"
5) There will be 5 classes as follows;
-
Compound Sighted
-
Compound Unsighted
-
Other Sighted
-
Other Unsighted
-
Wooden Arrows
Sighted shooters will use a 40cm Vegas or Triple style FITA face, 1 arrow per 'spot' ends of 3 or 6 arrows can be shot. Unsighted and wooden arrow archers will use a standard 60cm FITA face, 6 arrows per end.
All classes will shoot from the designated distance each month
Please check the current schedule to see how many arrows and at what are to be shot each month.
You may enter as many leagues as you wish.
6) If you do not complete the required amount of shoots you can still continue, but obviously your chances of winning are reduced and your chance of being relegated increase. You will not be allowed to submit more than the required scores in either season to make up for any missed shoots.
7) Please state if you are shooting any or all of your rounds indoors.
8) In the event of a tie at the end of the season and both parties have shot different rounds (i.e not all 12 rounds) then ave score per arrow will be worked out to settle the position, if this is the same then the position will be shared.
