A few car-loads of us are coming up from Toad Hollow.

All are camping except the wife and I - We are staying with relatives in Cannock for a few nights.

This will be our first champs - really looking forward to it.

We entered quite late as my wife couldn't get the time off work initially.

We may have to shoot un-competitively as AFB Gents and Ladies is full.

Noted and point taken young Bushmeister, however, if you are going to spend a day in each of your club colours you're going to need a three day shoot (unless you joined anymore clubs recently that I know nothing of)

I managed to win which was nice way to leave the country, on a high

The courses were tight so 3D's wern't set too far, adds bit of pressure to the top shooters as you know one mistake and youre out the competition and the average joe gets to enjoy the shoot and not get depressed because theyre blanking everything.

Andy Soars was on good form so 4 points between us at the end of the first days shooting but managed to keep my lead. Nice to see old friends and make a few new ones.

Good shoot

It was a great course    (Even if it ate 3 of my arrows   )

I was really happy with my scores - over 700 both days, a new PB for me and a great result on the first shoot with my new carbons

I won bronze for Ladies FS    Absolutely chuffed to bits - that's my first ever placing in a national competition, and I've only been shooting FS field for 10 months

Very very very happy Ruth

Congratulations Ruth, your 706 on C course would have put you well amongst the male FS archers who shot the same course the previous day.
