Just shot the 3D open at the course and shock horror I won again. It was 17 target course shot twice different pegs second time with upto 3 animals in a group. 1 arrow per animal. Only got 7 inner kills 25 outer kills and blanked 4 targets all together. Got 145 for 1st round and 180 for the second total 325. I know not great but it was the first time and I loved it. Its the most fun I've ever had on the course.
I think there is a shoot at Borders course soon and I'm definately going I've heard their course is amazing.

Can't remember who said it, but it's a truism that you don't have to be good, just one point ahead of the other guy. As for the fun, it's all in the doing.

Your right although I think I may be getting the hang of this archery thing at last. I won by 75 points this time and had the second highest recurve score, a guy who's been shooting for many a year got the highest (but it wasn't that much above mine). Now I know I've said in the past I'm not competitive but it's fun to win every now and then.

Blackcat, you have to be happy with your scores they are great and to think, you even had fun doing it. That to me is the best part, the enjoyment of shooting an arrow - it doesnt get any better. Have fun shoot straight and take what comes your way in your stride, you will win more often Blackcat, cause you enjoy and relax and just shoot. Well done
