For some silly reason, the bank released half the funds yesterday. Weird, but I ain't arguin'. Paid off the debts, bills are paid through December, started Kathy's birthday/anniversary project (new computer), so most everything's taken care of. Did order the Phoenix (down-payment made), to be paid in full when the rest of the check is free at the end of the month. Will be calling fred about the ELB today, find out how he wants payment. Relief!

Blackcat, join the club, heh. One of the reasons I ditched my old compound was that it takes a physicist to work with the things, got tired of having to go down to the shop and have it tweaked for some unexplainable reason. Had enough of gears and wheels after being in tanks, and the Phoenix has none of that, thankfully.

Kathy's computer is one of her secret desires; go up on pimprig.com and toodle through some of the stuff people are doing there, that's what she wants. Fancy lights and psychedelic colors! I'll get the handmedown pc, at least. Also got her the special ring she wants for the marriage ceremony next year. We had a civil ceremony, and I promised way back that she'd have the religious service ASAP, so that's now in the works, canopy, breaking the glass and all.

Thank you both for the good wishes. Will try to keep things current.
