We bought a wood riser some months ago but now junior wants an aluminium riser, any suggestions. 18lb limbs.

Also are you hoping to use your existing limbs? If they're not 'international fitting' then this would limit your choice further.
At the lower end of the scale the KAP Winstar II seem to be well regarded for their price.

Not sure how big your junior is, so I don't know if you need to be looking for a 23" riser.
The samick agulla and mizar risers are good bows. The Mizar is a 23" riser.

oter than that you can always look towards the Win and Win they have some cheap bows and they are not bad just one question are the limbs international fitting or are you havign to look for some new ones

Bushy - I assume as he is looking for a metal riser, that he is coming from a wooden one, and I am sure I am going to be proven wrong here, but I am not aware of a wooden riser with international fitting limbs, especially amoungst the training bows (making assumption here because of the junior part )
