... I think Dawn that Dave has a few more things on his mind at the moment than wanting to tell his cheer squad what he bought....

ahem... on second thoughts maybe he should tell us, we can then really cheer him on

..Go Dave ....Go Dave .... Go Dave ......

And because we know Ruthie likes to sneak up on her competition...

Go Ruthie ....Go Ruthie ..... Go Ruthie ........

Doesn't look too far behind the leaders, but does Ruthy have enough time to catch up?

Looks like Ruth has a fairly solid 39 point advantage over 4th placed Király Beáta on 1330 and 47 points on Jamer Birgit at 1322!

So its looking good for the last day - Go, Ruth, Go

Just to add a few more figures to that

There are 19 partisipants in Ruthy's style

84 in Dave's he is in 79th place only 18 points behind 78th place, It looks like Dave would have been quite high in the placings if he had not lost a days score due to his bow

So good luck sent to them and looking forward to seeing the end results

I agree thanks dawn. It is such a shame that Ratfighter's bow failed on him

To gain places like that, having lost an entire days score is super impressive! It really show his caliber and level of skill, most people would have just given up when that had happened. He is even doing it with one of those Hoyt things that he has hardly had any time to get set up and learn, now that is impressive!

Thanks for your kind words guys

The thing is the IFAA and EFAA have different names for the styles to the NFAS which makes it a bit difficult to sort out where to look I have it sussed now but I know it could take time for others to sort out

Jabberwocky I think you understand how close the scores can be in unlimited (NFAS) and that really does make us realise how much Dave has put into the 3 days he has competed

Especially with a new Hoyt thing

Wow, considering the handicaps those two are shooting with, it's flat out amazing what they're doing. I'd love to be a fly on the wall at a certain company when they have a visitation from a steaming Ratfighter after all this is over. Might be nearly as interesting to see as the competition!

Dawn, It is a big help though, all the different classes with different names gets me all confddled and I am easily confused

I don't regard myself as a particularly excellent compound shooter and have only been shooting field for about 10 months or so. Although I have been shooting target recurve for about 25 years and compound for about 5 so the experience has been fairly helpful in getting going with field its mainly the distance judgment that get me. The best I have ever managed round a fairly tough course is to drop only 7 out of the kill with one shot hits on all the targets and I thought that I was shooting out of my skin.

Anyhow back to the point in hand, To make ground as Dave has he must be shooting pretty much perfect all the way with (to him) a strange bow which he has had little time to get set up. These guys and girls are shooting at a world champs so there are not many people there spraying arrows about, everyone there will know how to shoot and shoot well, so nobody is going to be easy to catch. What Dave is doing is impressive to say the very least.
