Nice MAX 3000 Liam, lovely colour and they make some of the best carbon limbs around, ive had a couple of MAX 2000 bows real smooth forgiving bows, i only sold them cause i'm a sucker for the latest compound, i'd like another 2000 for barebow of the shelf, they just seem to balance right in your hand, unlike the con3 Real top heavy, hence the rear stabiliser, but i'll have to stick with the con3 for now, my wife is getting wise to me.

My buddy has a portland 2000 another quality British built bow, now i know why youve got the 3 lions on your arm

Oh yes well spotted kirk it was (well still is) a Portland 2000, cracking bow even for its age and boy is it a talking piece at shoots, I had no end of people coming up and asking about it, and they all commented on how nice mine looked having been polished back down th the metal I am also told the bolivian national champ still shoots a portland 2000.

Even took it up to KG, those who know the guy that owns KG used to build the marksman bow's, he was chuffed to bits to see the bow in such good condition!!

I am sure that Liam, or anybody is not offended Mick, just precautionary measures by our Admin to protect those that may not like it. I know I enjoyed the pic, but then again in OZ we consider hunting to be a normal part of life. We do have our groups that are offended as well though.

Kirk I too enjoyed the pic, but unfortunately there are some who wouldnt, and we have to keep a balance, its not your fault mate, I had not placed any rules on the matter so you are entirely blame free .

Any way back to the bows......................

Some nomark Stole this bow(above) from my shed and it was recovered in pieces

This one I broke last month when I stupidly tried to shoot it after been awake for nearly 2 days and released it before full draw and the cables jumped off. Awaiting repair

Hope this has more luck, I could break ballbearings

Thanks for the pics Dawn, I really appreciate that very much.

One comment on the second pic though if I may (you know I am going to anyway)

Over here in Aussie Land we (well ok me) hate those damn finger gloves as release aids for fingers. Maybe yours a better and you can feel more with your fingers. But my preference is a tab all the way

Reasons you ask - well first iff , feel of the string is normally better. A tab is not o bulky hence the general comfort is much better. Tabs normally will allow the string to slide off better.... I better stop right now and hear what you all say
