I wouldnt say it was a total cock up, there was some confusion over how ads were categorized in the fact that it was advertised as an open shoot but didnt show on the general search, seemed a little suspicious at the time

There is no need for any suspicion with archeryOrganiser.com. We do not partner with anyone to the exclusion of anyone else. The whole purpose behind aO is to bring archery to as many people as possible. In the beginning, GNAS clubs welcomed us with open arms, while many NFAS clubs treated us with suspicion. We didn't exclude NFAS clubs because of that.
No, what we want to do is give all aspects of UK archery a common portal in which to reach the masses. Somewhere clubs can list their contact details and then post entry forms, bookings, target lists, results, photos, shoot reports, etc. A one-stop shop to make joining and participating in archery a breeze, as it were.
We want UK archery to grow, but archeryOrganiser.com is also growing and learning. We are in our infancy and are open to any suggestions and comments that will help make aO even better.

Well put clickerati
aO is a fine idea and im sure in time it will become a very usefull tool to experienced and new archers alike.
I believe there is good reason why some NFAS clubs were cautious at first which I shall not discuss on here, once that 'issue' was sorted I believe many have jumped on board, I myself have listed LEFA on aO and advertised its shoot on there.
Keep up the good work aO

I have advised our club that our next Open is now published on aO. Two replies were received in response. Stating that it was a very professional looking site. I have to agree. Even I can enter facts about a shoot without getting lost...& that's saying something.
I have asked our webmaster to put in a link to aO.
He will get around to it eventually, as all archery & archery related things have had to take a back seat due to various commitments.

Keep up the good work, its a great way to find out who is out there and what is happening
