Tis a good site and has potential, but not my fave cup off tea at the moment as I submitted the AR birthday shoot and they have chosen not to advertise it..............wonder why ????????????

And yes I am registered on it as I advertise my clubs shoots on there and have never had a problem getting my submissions approved.

That does sounds a might strange, as you are not exactly direct competition. This site is more about the fourm, ok it has a little used events section. Their site is more about local clubs and events. Do not see why they can't be friends

They have a relationship with another archery forum.

I didn't realise that. I'm the Black Arrow representative on Archery Organiser, maybe they only allow shoots to be registered by the hosting clubs rep? (trying to give them the benefit of the doubt )

There is no bias on archeryOrganiser. Because this is a *members only* event, it does not show up in general searches, but the event IS there. You can find all members only events on the page of the club hosting the event.

http://www.archeryorganiser.com/events-view.asp?event_id=643

Also please note that every event is proof read before it is *live*, so you may not see your event in a search until it has been verified by the administrators.

Hope you have a good shoot

That explains all the shoot was submitted over a week ago and I expected a delay in it going live as per instructions.

Wasnt aware it was advertised as as a members only shoot, i presumed that as it was posted as an open shoot it would not be classed as *members only* or was that done, due to the fact it states that AR members only?

Apologies if you felt it was pop at archery organiser.

Are you involved with the running of said site at all clickerati?

I'll always admit to a mistake Jim

Would be nice to see an answer to the above question

And given AO's association with AIUK I would totaly understand if our shoot wasn't advertised at all, if im honest I wasnt expecting it to get through their 'moderation'

I would have liked some kind of association with AO infact I did make an approach in the early days, but again given the aforementioned association I understand why this may not be a workable situation.

As I said originally AO is a good site and has potential to become a very big thing.

Hi All,

Anthony from archeryOrganiser.com here.

Sorry about the confusion. I do personally review each new event before going live, but that's merely to make sure that all the necessary info has been added (and to do a quick proof-read).

I have changed your event to an "open event" which means that it'll appear on all the event searches. The event should still have appeared under the Black Arrow Field Archery Club.

archeryOrganiser is still very young, so there's plenty of room for improvement and I really value any feedback I can get. If anybody has any problems, questions or suggestions please don't hesitate to contact me. There is even a live chat feature on the website which will show you when I'm available to chat.

Thanks,

Anthony
