I've been a member almost from the beginning and only just noticed that I haven't declared my bow style yet.
Recurve under FITA rules, though the last time I shot a target round was two years ago. Freestyle Recurve under IFAA and Freestyle in good old NFAS.

At the moment i'm using a Ash Longbow, but it might well change. Not really shot from any others.

Hi,
Never noticed this thread before
Anyway I learnt a few years ago on a target recurve. But now I have a Ragim Wolf AFB. Together with some very nice arrows that Jason supplied andI made up myself.
Unfortuneately a few weeks ago I damaged my back and I've had to drop the poundage as its an old injury and I know it'll take about 3 months to clear.
So that was a sound excuse for a visit to Kassai's factory and so of last week I am also the proud owner of a Kassai Laminated Raven Hungarian bow. A good move as now I can still practice without putting too much strain on the back
Edit: Forgot to say at the moment I'm only shooting in the garden, but hopefully after Easter I'll be able to get in touch with a club and get involved in some field shooting

I shoot a bowtech Guardian for target, not that I do much of that, find it rather repetative, and dare I say boring!
I have a Bowtech Tribute in Assist max 4 camo for field.
I occasionally shoot with an English long bow, but my favourite non compound is my Grozer hun bow. Prefer it to the long bow anyday, but that's just my opinion.

I started with a Recurve in 1958. I was out of archery for 25 years but came back to the recurve and have never even shot a compound. I currently have 4 recurves, all set up to be FITA Field legal. I shoot the same set up in FITA target, FITA indoor and NFAA/IFAA field and indoor.

I have many bows, but my main bow is a Bickerstaffe Osage / Hickory 70lb English Longbow.
I only get out the recurve or compounds to do demos at the end of beginners courses and my Mongolian comes out at the same time and when I am doing an archery display.
