What is it called ?? A friend asked me a question tonight , bowling has lanes, shooting has a range,
in archery we practice at the butts, but what is the course called in field archery. and target archery:?:

I have always called them plain and simple , field Range or Target range..... works for me

Whats it called ?Don't ask me.... I'm still working out which end of that recurve bat thing to hold...... but course sounds about right. ( Odd calling it course when Archers are some of the nicest people I have ever met)
........ I'm starting to ramble now... must be the diesel fumes....

Can only comment on field although I have heard the term 'target range' used
I have always known it as a field course, and the individual targets known as shots.

The general consensus seems to be field COURSE, but i call it heaven
