er? Hello!!

new to this!!

been doing archery since FEB of this year, my closest club that i'm aware of is Ten-Ring down at Ramsgate in Kent, is a 100 mile round trip so i only get to go on my days off from work and i have a full free day.

I took my lessons at Ten-Ring and got my G.N.A.S. membership, i also bought my kit from Ten-Ring, i found them very very helpful and let me "try before you buy".  All the members down there are very helpful with advice and a good deal of banter on the range.

I have a win & win riser and KAP limbs, i'm only pulling 32lb at the mo cos of being new and learning my form. i have an 8125 string and easton xx75 platinum plus arrows that are 1916

i've only ever shot on the indoor range at Ten-Ring and only Portsmouth rounds, i score in the region on 520ish.  My avatar pic (if it worked) is of my best 3 so far!  i have loads of room for improvement!!!

unfortunatly i've not shot for over a month as i had a motorbike crash on 1st of june and been off sick since, i'm just getting full movement back in my right shoulder so i got my kit out today to see if i could pull it... think it might be a while until i can shoot comfortably

i hope to find somewhere nearer to shoot and try different types of shooting, anyone know anything local to me???

cheers

Danny

Hi Danny great to hear a bit about you

Hope you soon recover from your injury, don't go shooting too much to start with you don't want to set yourself back

Have a look here

Welcome Woody832.  To what is perhaps the most friendly forum on the internet.  Great job on getting stuck right in with the posting, you'll have a great time, hope you manage to find a more local club to involve yourself in, and as Dawn says take it easy to start with shooting through an injury, you can ultimately do more harm than good.

Adam.
