Weight training for Archery

Does anyone have any good routines with dumbells that I could use to build up my shooting stamina, I have set that have been sitting under the bed for years gathering dust?
segolden

Check this site out, bro. Did wonders for me, will be going back to it once I heal up:

That looks like a good site Steve could do with doing those routines myself

Thanks for that

One thing to remember is that you need to combine this with some light cardiovascular activity, like walking. Weight training is wonderful for strength, but doesn't create stamina, whereas keeping the lungs and heart going for a half-hour several times a week does that.

Thanks for that Steve, looks very useful, shall be giving those a go

Couldn't help notice though, that boys worked up one hell of a sweat

Excellent link mate thanks. Will be putting it to good use

Thought it would help most people, sure did for myself. Thing ya gotta remember, Liam, is this guy pulls bows of over 100#, so sweat is just part of the down-payment. Not somebody I'd want to meet in a bar fight.

I think I will try that.
I don't think he is sweating so much from the exercise as from the heat of where he is, it doesn't look like the UK to me.

Very good point! John lives in Southeast Texas, a rather humid section near the Gulf of Mexico and close to Louisiana.

My powers of observation are un-imaginable

Nothing to do with the style of buildings or anything
