Want to enter the field league?

If you would like to enter our field league and have read the rules please put your name, home country and shooting style in here, you will then be put the in the handicapping league, after 3 scores have been submitted you will be entered into the league proper.

So all we need is your

  1. Name (Username on AR)
  2. Home Country (i.e. England or Scotland, whatever )
  3. Bow Style (as its known in your home country's field association)

Leave the rest up to us

Thats all I need for now Blackheart, you will be placed in the handicapping league untill you have submitted 3 field shoot scores, you must state that you are attending a shoot before it takes place in this forum, your first 3 scores may be from your home ground.

A (possibly silly) question:

If I give you 3 scores for handicapping (from shoots from June, July and Aug this year), may I then give you one or two more from comps shot after these three to use in the league proper, eg my Nationals score?

Or is it only to be from shoots I do after the date I am entered into the league? (eg SVYF this Sun)

To keep within the rules ruth you would need to give shoots after you joined, we require you to give notice of which shoots you attend, and if you give notice of a shoot you must post your score even if you have a shocker, this way people cant just submit their good scores However we dont mind bending the rules for handicapping purposes

Ok mate, if you have 3 scores and the winners score for your class I'll have them now and get you straight in the league, if not give me your next 3, doesnt matter if they are all club shoots for handicapping.

Liam because the Shipley shoot was cancelled, if you want to use the 3D champs scores to move WONFOR  into the league, the scores are on the NFAS website (junior boy barebow)

Hi Dawn. I figured I'd sign up for NFAS membership at the beginning of January (That way you get 15 months for the price of 12... not exactly a great cash saving incentive but I figured I wouldn't be shooting anywhere till after the 6th of Jan) and then signup with you and try and get over to the first shoot you have thereafter...

I may need a little tuition!!!

Do I need to fill in any forms for you?

I'll have our own facilities (20yd target shooting setup at home!) ready by then as well!

I'm in England, and I shoot in the English Longbow. (You couldn't have guessed that could you)

I don't know if this you need this but here are my last three scores for a 2 day shoot
290 at English Champs 13/14 Oct 2007 (winning score 290)
304 at Raven's Open 10/11 May (winning score 304)
345 at All British 24/25 May (winning score 345)

I see they are not NFAS scores for which I am familiar with the classifications, is English Longbow the classification name?

No they're GNAS scores for combined rounds, 24 marked and 24 unmarked. The classification I shoot in is Longbow, which is the same as NFAS Longbow
