Steve B --- Co-Admin

As many of you know Steve has been with AR since the original forum was launched nearly 2 years ago, as you may also know that launch was abandoned due to personal commitments of mine, Steve patiently waited and a year later (last October) when AR was re-launched he received his "Welcome to the new AR" email and joined straight back in, without Steve we may not have made it this far, it was painfully slow at the begining but the fact that some Australian geezer was bothered enough to join in and even offer to help out to get the forums up and running humbled me and made me feel almost obliged to make a relative success of AR if not for me but for his efforts.

Well, as they the rest is history 10 months on from the relaunch we have well over 300 members and nearly 20,000 posts on the forums and its come to point where I need even more help looking after the place, we have our admin team of me and the moderators and what a great job the mods do, thanks to all of you Steve has been a 'Global Moderator' for some time now and recently agreed to step in as Admin whilst I was away just to cover us against spammers and such likes.

I decided to offer the position to Steve on a permanent basis because as the forums grow and get busier we obviously attract more traffic, making us more appealing to spammers and hackers, plus the fact that contrary to common belief I do not spend 24 hrs a day on here

Obviously this is just a small step to safeguarding AR's future and the moderating team still play the biggest part in keeping the forums clean and safe for users of all age groups, having another Admin just gives us more control over the membership and keeping those who want to spoil a good thing away.

Its a credit to our membership that we have no 'internal' issues, I have never experienced a forum which has gone this long without some kind of fall outs, I'm really proud of you the members

So please give a big hand/pat on the back to Steve B your new Co-Admin

Well, I can't say enough positive things about everybody here, and the joy and comfort I get from the people who inhabit such a place have been a blessing during recent times. I really hope that this doesn't change, for AR is an island of peace and truth in a rough Internet sea. Congratulations on maintaining the old inn, to Steve B on the recognition of his splendid work behind the scenes, and to everyone that has contributed to AR's success. La Chaim!

I agree with everything said above, you Liam and Steve do an excellent job and I for one would not be where I am today in archery without the help and support of this forum and all the members on here.

Congratulations Steve.
