both very fast but the Turk is bit of an animal and hard work to control, only weighs 15oz in the hand

Hard to resist those handy-sized recurves. What're the stats on these babies?

The Ibex is 58" long, 50lbs at 27"
The Turk is 54" long 50lbs at 28"
Theyre both 200+ fps with wood arrows, A lot of Saluki shooters in USA shoot carbons and claim 230+fps, need to put mine through a chronograph to see for myself, shot at Oakleaf a few weeks back and some people were watching arrows go downrange on the practice area and said arrows look like there coming out of a Compound, hard to appreciate the speed when youre behind the string.

Love it! Same impression I got of one a fellow in my old SCA club had. Salukis just rip 'em out, like the Korean trad bows do.

Nice bows, zetabow!
I'm impressed with the 200 fps, (as well as both bows to be sure!) I think that speed is awsome, and I bet it does put one in mind of arrows coming off a compound.

Nice bows Zeta, i like the look of the Ibex.
I believe the guy who builds them used to be a glass sculptor, and decided he wanted to make functional art?
By the look of those bows he succeeded
Thanks for the pics.

Yep thats right Lukas did sculture glass before making Bows, I've seen one of his Bows inlayed with mother of pearl leaf design, it was the most beautiful bows I've ever seen.
One day I hope to own all his models, a real must have Bow

Sounds nice.
I have played around with mother of pearl inlay myself and it's a real pain to work with. I'd love to see a pic of that.
