I am well chuffed with it, I think its a lovely looking bow and love the colour, its gonna be painfull to part with, probably not next year but i'll certainly be looking at getting Merlins 2009 bow whatever that may be

Archery as a fashion statement, or planned obsolescence, Liam?
|

None of my purchases were made to improve the appearence of the bow, its just pot luck its come together nicely, mind I still say that colour makes the bow

Funny how things sometimes come together at the right time and place. Just don't decide to chuck the thing for the first pretty face you see in the archery magazines, that's all I ask.

And what would be wrong with the first pretty face Steve? gotta try em all don't you ( Iam talking about bows I hope you are )

Considering some of the ads I've seen recently, I refer to my old political science class: "NO COMMENT".

Just to report that the new bits appear to be having the desired effect, I've not shot much in the past couple of weeks infact I've only got my sight marks out to 40 yds so far, but I couldnt resist a quick round in the woods yesterday so shot much of it blind (no sight marks) but even so the overall feel of the bow was better and my 20 30 and 40 yarders were all kills bar one

Scored a pb by a mile today, 639 for a short metric, should have been better had a 7 two 6's and a 4 beats my previous by more than 30 and theres a bit of room for improvement so I'm well pleased, the new bits are paying off

That's going some mate, glad it's all starting to work out. In our house Ruthy now holds the PB crown with a 684. We'll be down Merlin next week leading up to Switzerland. This week has been a washout due to work and the car being out of commission (lots of big hills over there and no clutch),So maybe we'll catch you next Tuesday

Fred, if you put the wheels on the floor, sit on the riser and hold on to the stabiliser tight you can actually ride it
