Looking for other Longbow BeginnersI just ordered my 1st longbow, 8 weeks wait time. Yes I will likely buy one off the shelf in 3 more weeks cus I just can't wait  So while I wait I thought I would try to find some others new to the longbow. That way we can ask each other things like " um whats this long extra bow string in the box for? (I know )
And how do I pick the right arrow (I have no idea  )
So if you just got, just ordered, or just really really want one of these long sticks with a string then add your post so we can all feel a little dumb together.

So the wife call me this afternoon "a long carton just showed up for you. I thought you said your bow would take months"  OMG! how the heck did it get here in 9 days....... Have to talk to the wife about how long a longbow is.....But the arrows that DID come in that box are cool...so um like 7 & 1/2 weeks till I get to use them

I told her if the box was not taller than her it's not a LONGBOW. What dose it mean when your wife goes "pift" and says "boys & there toys" I think it means : Yes dear I'll watch for your bows & I love you. ok I like to think it means that 
Oh well I get my knee cut on next monday, after I'm layed up at home three or four days, I bet she hunts my bow down just to give me something to do other then whine
