Installed My Peep SightInstalled a peep sight tonight on my #55 Fred Bear 'Black Bear' Compound bow, the one I've been using for our AR Compound Sighted Target League.
I thought I'd try a peep, (I have three of them which I never installed), and thought perhaps it might not only help my points score but my 'X' count as well, and who knows,,, I might even make a decent run in the league through the warmer weather months that should be coming one of these days?
I'm sure glad we have this league as it gave me the excuse I needed to get back to my compound bows which I haven't shot in years until recently with our Target League. I'm still a big Longbow fan, but I didn't realize just how much I missed my compound bows.
One of these days I expect I'll take the plunge and purchase a decent Recurve for our 'Other Sighted' AR Target League. At this point I have just not seen anything that catches my fancy (price range mainly), but I'm going to keep looking.
