Bickerstaffe Bows are just a few miles away from me, I have known Pip for a number of years and he is a member of our club.
If you contact him he will advise you, here are some pictures from earier this year when our club members visited his workshop

Everybody I've talked to that have Bickerstaffe bows and do business with Pip just love the product and service. If Fred hadn't given me a good deal, I would've gone with them. Their bows have good resale value if you want to move up, as well (that is if you can bear to part with it ). I'd go with the #3 standard, as it has a a second notch on the tips so that you can use a stringer. The old-fashioned method of bracing a bow over the shoulder or bending at the tip is dangerous for both you and the bow. A stringer is so much easier, as you can see on Pip's video online.

Other than Quick's, not sure where else but there's a lot of British sites the people here can tell you about. Myself, I made my tab and bracer out of scrap leather and boot laces; the glove can be most anything, though leather is best. I use a weight lifter's glove, golf or bicycle gloves also work well since they're thin enough to feel your grip on the bow. Cloth or wool seem to be cut fairly easily by the fletching.

Some other stuff you might want:
Order at least one spare string with the bow;
If not able to find beeswax in blocks (for bow-rub down and waxing strings), pick up some toilet floor-seals at a plumber's supplier;
An Indian-style quiver can be made by taking an old pants leg and sewing shut one end, attaching a D-loop and strap for belt or shoulder/back carry, and can even be dyed to suit your fancy (faux-fur inside and sewn around the edge keeps rattling noise down);
It ain't "traditional", but aluminum or carbon arrows will work in a longbow, and are generally cheaper. Wood's nice and I use them sparingly but, unless you make your own, the man-made shafts have advantages. Since you're not competing formally, save your money for other things.

Welcome to archery hellfire, it can be an expensive set to up, but you can also do it wisely as the previous posters have said. I would go with aluminium arrows if I was you but what type you get will be determined by the draw weight of your bow and the length of the arrow required. To keep the trad people quite you can even get aluminium arrows with a wood grain finish
Glad you are enjoying the sport, it is so much fun

Hellfire, I've found bare carbon and aluminum shafts on sale for as little as 15 pounds per dozen, just have to look around a bit. Fletched shafts have run around 30-40, depending on the source. Might be a while, but the discounts do pop up at certain times. I'll keep an eye out and let you know if I find something.

Most longbow archers I know who wear a glove seem to favor golf gloves - don't know if the are real of simulated leather - they seem to be pretty thin.

Bear in mind what goes into making a good set of arrows we fletchers often end up working for way less than the minimum wage. Let me know what you're after and I will see what I can do for you bud. Matched wood arrows with a Wood Bow - anything else just isn't Trad!!!
Drop me a PM if you're interested always glad to try and help
