Have You shot this Recurve? Impala Deluxe Take-DownImpala Deluxe Take-Down Recurve By Ragim Archery of Italy.
So the wife went with me to shoot my new longbow. The guy next to me was shooting a Recurve {a $900. Recurve!}. Now my wife wants one. As she has never shot a bow, I'm thinking we should start at a lower price range and see how much She likes archery/ Recurves.
I was looking at the above bow. But if you have shot any other startup priced Recurve {under $300 for the bow}.
I just don't know Recurves at all, any info good or bad with bows in this price range would be a big help to me.
I'm in The U.S. by the way.

Hi, I've been shooting 3 months and have a Winstar 2 and Seb Flute Gold Standard Foam limbs. I think I paid £170 for both riser and limbs. I'm very pleased with it. Very smooth draw. Very popular in the UK.
Cheers

Hi Demian
I had an impala deluxe 5 years ago and had to return it due to a fault on the glue line in the riser, basically the bow was coming apart. Now this may not be the case with them all, I have had £900 bows I have sent back due to faults and flaws.
For my money I would look at the Samick range of field bows, good quality no nonsense bows, a little rough round the edges but they look and shoot fine.
Check out this sight under hunter recurve's for an idea of quality of the Samick bows.
