Field stylesThe various styles of field archery look very, very simular, what the difference between say hunting tackle and barebow? Are most styles shot without sights? |

Barebow-you may use carbon/metal arrows and shoot 3fingers below the arrow 1 anchor point. You can use plastic fletchings. HT---wooden arrows fletched with feather and shoot split 1 finger above and 2 below the arrow no sights on both styles.This is basic go into the NFAS WEB-SITE that will tell all you need to know.Both styles allows a recurve bow no compands

And a good guide here that shows you the NFAS styles of shooting, they are basically split into bow's and then what you can use on the bow, some classes include various different types of bow as fred pointed out. Hope that hasn't confused you even more
