EFAA National indoor championships 2008Just a quick note
As Ruthy has posted in her blog, I was able to witness a double max round today. awesome doesn't even come close. I certainly didn't!
However
with 594 and 73x's I did manage second in the mens unlimited.
To say I am chuffed is the biggest understatement of the year
I shot 297 in both sessions and tied for score with Martin Pearson but managed 5x's more.
I can honestly say I have never felt more nervous at a shoot ever. Before I go, a big thank you to Stu369, who had spotted that I had put the wrong helical on my fletches and sorted them for me on Saturday and a big thank you to Ruthy for being fantastic when I was about to do a Ratty after dropping 2 points in 5 arrows.
Boy what a start to the year. I'm off now to finish a stiff drink

As I have said elsewere Ratty501, you have done very well and I think you shot IFAA indoor, and I tell you 297 might not put on the podium, but that still very respectable indeed, it is not an easy round at all. So great effort Dave and keep the progression happening, Love seeing things get better and better for fellow archers

Well done mate and to Ruthy as well.
Sorry I missed you guys but I'm putting 100% focus into Namibia at the moment and shooting indoors would have been a distraction as I know these rounds are hard work just to get an avaeage score, again well done.
