Easton ST Epic 600

Anyone using Easton Epic 600, just read they are good for weights 35# to 50# @ 28".
Seems like a large weight difference to me. maybe ok in compound or recurve with a well past centre riser,
Just wondered how i'd go on with the flatbow with these.

I'm drawing 42# @ 27"

Anyone?

People here use them, just vary the weight of the heads to tune. The 600's were designed with both AFB's and low-end compounds in mind, from what I remember from the other forums.

Thanks Steve i think i'll give them a try. if i use screw in points i suppose tuning will be a lot easier, and i could use the same shafts for my recurve, just change point weights to stiffen up the shaft.

I'll order some in the new year and let you know how they fly.

Cheers kirk

Only reason I haven't tried the 600's is the wallet, and I'm still experimenting with alloys. Will be interested if they work for you, though, as I'm always looking for better hunting shafts.
