Hi again guys. just thought I would post the results of my second friday night shoot cos I am so excited about it to be honest
Finally starting to see some progress. One of the guys at the club spent some time setting up my bow with a plunger button and was working with me on my grip (he also lent me a finger sling) and all of a sudden my arrows started going where I wanted them.
I think this guy must be a cross between an Archery encyclopaedia and Yoda!
Shot 2 1/2 dozen arrows and scored along with the rest of the guys and managed to get a total score of 222. Not that high a score but a considerable improvement over the week before
best of all I was hitting gold consistently and my groups were getting tighter and tighter
I just want to get out there and shoot some more! Need to find a club thats open 7 days a week.

Re: Day two

Great stuff Gemms, keep on having a great time and flinging arrows. Isn't it so good to score well when you shoot, keep up the good work

Nice on Gemms, sound s like youv'e got the bug..
As for practice 7 days a week, you could do what i used to do, set a target up at the bottom of the stairs.
But make sure the doors locked and your on your own.
If my wife knew she would skin me
