Beginners Course Week 5

we've just continued shooting today for 2 hours! and i must say we are getting better and better
nothing else really, just shooting!
the only thing that happened is that i forgot to put my arm guard and well i dont need to tell you anything else
next week is last week , we are having comp between us and trying different bows and measuring to tell us what would be best for us to buy!

Sound like great fun Joe, but hey were is the pic of your Arm "badge" we have all had them though so you are not alone. It just lets you know that you should have remembered your Bracer

Good to hear you got lots of shooting in Joe

I think you will remember your arm guard next week

If you don't mind smelling 'nice' lavender oil is very good, it takes away the pain and clears up the brusing quite well

kirk

Hey Joe What kind of bow are you going to get?

A nice trad AFB with a doz barred fletched arrows maybe..

As for the bow string tattoo you've been christened, you could start a new thread now.. Bow string tattoo's
Liam

Hey we've all had the rather painfull bow string tatoo at one time or another, keep up the good work though Joe, cant wait to see what you decide to get
Onewackybow

Don't remind me... ouch, ouch, OUCH!
Jabberwocky

Hi Joe,

You have done well to avoid getting a 'bow string tattoo'  for 5 weeks! most people mange to get one in the first few dozen. Keep up the good work!
joe croatia

maybe i should put a photo of my new tattoo in the thread with all the tattoo photos
thanks for the advice Dawn !
and Kirk i'll have to disappoint you but i think i'll stick with recurve for now at least till i get bit better/start doing things right
i did try compound and i liked it  but i've seen that most of you experts advising to stick with recurve the begining!

Hey Joe i have at least one of each, and a dozen bows is never enough.

All I can say Berrnie, is you must hold your bow in  funny positions

Sounds like you could write the Karma Sutra of Archery
