Beginners Course Week 3well nothing really happened; we were just shooting to get shoot consistency (about 20 metres i would say)! to get the stance and anchor somewhere near decent
thats about it. i'll be back next week.
ps
i am doing all this just because no one ever done it and to give beginners like me an idea what to expect at their course.
thats if every coach is doing same things which i believe they should as i would imagine they all have to be approved by gnas.

Good idea joe
I am a NFAS coach we probably do things a bit different but the basics are the same just maybe in a different order
The stance and especially the anchor are so important, they need to be 'automatic' then you can concentrate on the shot
As long as you enjoy it all you wont go far wrong

Take your time Joe.
More importantly enjoy it. There's no rush.
As long as I see steady progress, no matter how slow, I'm happy.

thats what they are looking at now, we got to know our bows and now they are looking is the anchor always same and things(they always did)!
i must say we are getting there! coach said we are going to have comp on the last day of the course. and they'll bring all different bows to try and measure us properly if anyone wants to buy bows and things so that we know approx what to buy!
and i am enjoying big style, dont worry about that
