Hi
Try one of the cavalier mag rests, the are easy to tune and micro adjust.
Merlin archery have them , click on the link on the left of the page and check them out.
I have used them on most of my bows, including compound, though i currently use a NAP Centre rest on my Hoyt GameMaster real simple no nonsense kit.

Bow Sports stock them.

Kirk,
Did the cavalier hold up ok on your compound?
I am also looking for a new rest for my compound, and can't decide between the NAP 750, and the cavalier (can't get a martin lockmount rest...)
My only doubt is that I use 2214 X7's, so I am not sure if the cavalier will be able to cope with such a large arrow.

Blackheart.
I used a cavalier on my mathews shooting 2213 at 55# without a problem.
Although if I shoot compound again I would go for a timberdoodle, I saw Stonecold's at Pennington and it's a real well engineered bit of kit.
20 years I asked a seasoned archer what was the best rest, he said the best rest is no rest, meaning it's there just to hold the arrow until you loose, so it should have very little pressure on it through the firing cycle.
This was before the advent of fall away rests, that a lot of release compound shooters use today.

I never had a lot of luck with finger shooting using the cavalier mag rests - I kept wrecking them and they needed continious adjustment.
I currently use a NAP Quicktune 750 for arrows up to 1914 and a Bodoodle Fingerdoodle for anything bigger, to be honest the Bodoodle is a lot easier and quicker to setup and its really well put together - I got it direct from Bodoodle, just phoned them and ordered - got here in 4 days !!!
It was $64.95 including delivery (and $30 of that is postage)
