Archery Organiser

Something that caught my eye over on AIUK - a web site that lists clubs and competitions near your post code. You can even search for those that are affiliated to a specific society..... Worth a look.

Some of you may have seen a post I made over on the NFAS web-board highlighting that the information for the NFAS clubs had been taken from the private area of the NFAS site and contained information (i.e. precise club locations) that they may prefer to keep 'limited'.

The site owner worked very quickly to remove this information but this also had the knock-on effect of totally removing a lot of the NFAS clubs from Archery Organiser. Therefore if you need your club on Archery Organiser you will need to add them yourselves.

Which brings us to the other issue I had with AO, anybody can add and edit any club and event. I e-mailed the owner about this and he assures me that any changes have to be authorised (by the AO admin) before they go live. IMHO this isn't an ideal situation (i.e. how do they know what's correct or not) but it's probably the best way to get as many clubs on the site as quickly as possible.

I've added Black Arrow FAC, which can be seen here.

I have added LEFA to the evergrowing list and watch this space, there could be something in the pipeline between AR & AO
