Wolverine for Pooka and Corbarwolf on the 20th April pls Liam.
See you there Richard
Liam do you want to negate the Crusader shoot, as all the information was unavailable for the March league scores?
We are going to Black sheep this weekend if that helps.
Cheers

Dont worry about it Mark as you have 12 months to put 8 scores in so I'm sure you'll reach the quota

Hi Liam,
I'll be doing the Havering NALGO shoot on the 20th April.
Also hoping it will be a bit flatter than Parton , as I'm rubbish at judging the uphill and downhill distances

Ermmmm
Liam I think there is a mistake with the second score
Field Scores Submitted 2008 Name 1 2
AFB (Sco) 59.9% (98.4) 50.6% (92.8)
But my calculations make 530 over 50% of 692
Approx 70 % rather than 50%
I thought I had a decent score *cries*

Liam

Your absolutely right, must have hit a wrong button when working out the %'s, corrected now though

Hi Liam I'm shooting 19th/20th of April, N Ireland Field Champs, at Castlewellan
Not that I'm ready for it but heyho lol

Results from Havering NALGO:
Ruthmc: 430 (silver medal )
Winner: 568 (I think... brain wasn't working well after the shoot)
That was a tough course over 36 targets, and I had to shoot from the silver, red and white pegs , so I think I'm slowly improving again

Selwoc

Well done Ruth, I heard James also did well, you better get him on this league.

Do you move up to gold pegs as you improve
So who beat you ?

Thanks!
Yeah, that's what they used instead of a wasp peg or stripey peg, usually for darksiders, but on this course for ALL sighted styles eek!
Selwoc, can't remember the name of the lady who beat me - it'll be in the NFAS newsletter I'm sure James did ok, about as well as I did on my first field shoot with a LB, but nowhere near the 540+ scores needed for a medal in Gents LB

Avalon score
Mine 719
Winner 719
The reason for the strange odd number is that they had a moving target, 10 for a kill and 5 for a wound. As I can never, ever hit moving targets, I was very happy with a wound.

And how wet did you get all day?

It was sunny, warm and dry, apart from a very light shower that lasted less than 5 minutes. Warm enough to wear a t-shirt most of the day.
First NFAS shoot with the Merlin Elite, very happy with the way it feels, no complaints.
