A begginer sort of

20 years in the wilderness of life. Have the rules changed much in my absence?

I purchased my 1st bow from Quicks it was a 66" 40lbs will I find much difference in todays recurve systems?

Cheers

Welcome back to it Doug!

I returned to archery earlier this year after a break of about 10 years - left home, started career, life happened - you get the idea...

You will find that as soon as you hold a bow in your hand, your body somehow remembers exactly what to do! I guess it's like riding a bike! The only difference I found (apart from my muscles having to wake up a bit) is misses are now marked with an 'M' instead of an 'X'. This was significant for me given my shooting ability!

I imagine that things haven't changed much apart from a few new gadgets with silly names, but as a longbow archer I scoff at such things

Welcome back to it and enjoy

Geoff
