What is a dog,He is a friend a pal a pest. They are part of your home and family you love when they come for fuss, a pest when they dig up the new garden or piddle and s**t on your new lawn. They rely on you to feed them and a safe warm place to sleep you get if you are lucky a lick a kiss or sit at your feet. They come in all colours shapes and sizes, this one is a henzi 57 bits of this a bits a that, you should not have favourites but this one is my best he was a rescue dog who until me a Mrs Fred took him in had only kickings and beatings.
Today I have cried to take him to the vet because he has a cancer which they can do nothing for him I watched the light go out of his eyes.WE HAD I FOR 11 YEARS BY SUGER

i know how it feels, had a cat for 19 years, part of our world. Then a family member or friend starts on the slope and then you know how it balances out. All living things must pass by who wants to be last. woozle.

Our thoughts are with you Fred, we also know how you are feeling

Cherish your memories and be glad you were able to give him a good happy life after the bad start he had.

What is a dog?

"He is your friend, your partner,
your defender, your dog.
You are his life, his love, his leader.
He will be yours, faithful and true
to the last beat of his heart.
You owe it to him
to be worthy of such devotion."
(Anon)

Sorry to hear the news, Fred. Been there a couple of times   . Don't forget, you gave him a good life after a rotten start.
