Took a couple of minutes to download:
http://www.primitiv-bogen.de/simonstanley/Simon_Stanley_longbow.avi

He shoots 200 yards at/through a roadworks sign.  I'm guessing that's his Boyton made 145lb self-yew?

Andy I keep getting a (codec download error) sound but no pic, do you have a link to the site you got it from? I would love to see it.
I saw Simon Stanley shoot that bow at Saben fold, he also had a 175lb AFB with him, the nearest I have been to a 175lb bow was the price tag .

Right, you need the correct codec, which I believe is located in the XVid Codec pack (you can get it individually, but it's a pain)  Two ways to do this. Go to the original url here and download the video.  Right click the downloaded file and open with quicktime, this will take you through to the Apple site, tell you what you need and where to get it.  This way you've followed Apples guidence to a reputable site.  Second way, you can trust that I've done the above for you, and that apple will point you to this site download the codec pack, double click to install (takes seconds) reload the Simon Stanley site, and enjoy the video.

Good video, enjoyed it a lot.  You can never get enough information
on period longbows.  Thanks!
