Just thought you might like to see some photos from what i believe to be the best shoot of the year.
Well done to Toad Hollow Archers, Ian, Brenda and all the amazing helpers for non-stop organisation and work.
They worked tirelessly on providing top quality meals, snack, drinks, administration, target changes over the 2 days and climbing endless steps to do so. I've never seen so many members work together so well with such dedication to achieving success and smiling thro it all too.
HUGE THANK YOU! STERLING EFFORT! WELL DONE ALL OF YOU.

Pooka
Won 1st place jr girl barebow  ......Day One 442 ......Day Two 592
Corbarwolf
Won 1st place gents AFB...............Day One 658.......Day Two 688.

We also met ROADRUNNER (Hi John   ) and had a great evening eating, drinking, remembering, etc in the arches with all
our other local friends from the midlands circuit (see last pic with John in the white t-shirt), while the wind blew a rainy gale past the doorways.
The weather after all that whilst shooting, was remarkably pleasant, all but for a spell on the Saturday, but glorious sunshine on the Sunday.
Def. worth the 5 hour drive to get to it.

So to the pics. Hopefully it is a good selection without boring people rigid of our weekend.
Sorry the indoor shots came out a bit grainy, the lack of light or my setting ot sure which but you get the idea i'm sure

Again if you want to see more they are on our website here http://www.freewebs.com/centaura11/fortress210608.htm

Great photos Kerryj, i think i remember seeing you taking photos around the shoot.
Thanks for posting our pics on here.
Did you manage to get a photo of the arrows in full flight...love to see that.

You Toadies know how to do it. Even the medals and badges are one-off unique designs based on the Fort Entrance Gate, something to treasure for sure.

We shall return

Great photos and a great location for an archery match!  Congatulations on the wins.  The whole atmosphere in those photos look like a "win win" place for everyone to be!
