Well I've settled in to my new life in Estonia and pretty busy getting my business up and running with promotional stuff and Web page.

Shot the Estonian Field champs (IFAA) this weekend, the weather wasn't great on the Friday\Sat with lot of wind and rain, took the lead with the 28 X Animal round 430 points with Ular Teppo in second with 422 points. Ular beat me at the World champs in Namibia in April and like Namibia I beat him on the Animal round but Ular is a very strong Hunter\Field shooter so on the second day he beat me on the Hunter with a world class 363 and I shot a 339 (300 in Longbow is considered pretty decent score).

Last day Sunday we are shooting head to head I knew Ular is strong on long distances but I'm a little stronger on short distances so knew as long as i could keep up with on the +55yard shots I could chip away at his lead, by the time we were half way round I had caught up and the competition just got a little more interesting. A lot of pressure for both of us and Ular's form started  to weaken, maybe with the pressure,  I was able to pull away and win the day, Ular scoring 291 and myself 347 on the Field round.

There was some query as to whether I could be Estonian champion, IFAA rules says yes I can but Estonian Law says NO because I'm just resident and not citizen. Some phone calls to the Estonian Olympic committee from the FAAE president (FAAE and Fita are one org in Estonia) and was confirmed that i could be Estonian Champion.

A good weekend

No matter if they call you champion or not, excellent shooting. Well done and congratulations.
